i ship iskander/waver. though, not in the BL way. because they're the cutest pair of master and servant in the grail war where everyone else is psycho. not like i don't like kirei and gilgamesh though. i'm just sick of kiritsugu.
i find that as i read through this novel, i've never been happier with 30dollars spent, on the fate zero tribute arts artbook i bought. <3

if nitro+ (urobuchi gen, writes fate/zero and that disturbing saya no uta) is an author on crack who writes like a genius, narita ryougo (writes baccano and drrr) is a genius author who writes like he's on crack. whatever it is, looks the results will be amusing. and more of the psychotic archer gilgamesh is always welcome.

wtf, genderbent nero as saber??! and wtf is that saver?!!
i find it amusing that the lubu and su daji that sent and i were discussing some years ago really appeared, as berserker and caster respectively.
gawain as saber is hot, as with robin hood as archer. it's a bit disappointing that vlad the impaler (alucard?) is lancer and not berserker, heck i would even be happy with genderbent vlad (girlycard!!)
but i feel sad that there are no zero servants here. i wished that lancelot was in this game.

Haha. Tempted to create actual character stats and backstory from the stats. I suppose Pictor's Lancer would mostly be relying on critical strikes and evading attacks. Luck is extremely useful for avoiding those attacks based on causality, because the only way not to get hit by it is if causality favors you to begin with

Also, translating all the stats into numbers, as it's less misleading (from here).

I'm not sure what "certain conditions" are, but suffice to say that when push comes to shove your Servants will definitely be able to put in quite a bit more power than you'd think. AYC's Noble Phantasm is on the level of Divine Spirits, though, and martia's Endurance rating is beyond comprehension :O

That's more like it. I'll be a Berserker who gets mad, then sits around moping while other people hit me until they get tired and leave. Hmmm, though, I do like the Lancer class better. They're more bro.

Also Sent, I think one of the "certain conditions" refers to the territory buff, where Servants get boosted parameters if fighting on a home field. So martia and Sent would get a boost if the battlefiend were SG.

A mecha homonculus that was created for the sole purpose of being the ultimate Master in the Holy Grail War. It functions like a mana engine and can sustain a Servant longer than a regular human magus, and acts like an observant, calculating machine. However it has displayed confusion and curiosity at human behavior. Can berserker's genkiness crack his cold, machine heart?

I just realized that there are certain required traits before someone can become a Servant of a specific class. For example, all Assassins have to be Hassans. However, if we forgo that aspect, then the secondary characteristics is that all Assassins had to have been killers of some sort, and were so good at their "trade" that their true identities were never discovered. Killing, of course, doesn't have to be limited to human life (or life in general), as Nasu is very keen on reminding us. Concepts and abstractions can be "killed" too.

Lancers obviously had to have been handy with some sort of spear-like weapon.

Berserkers had to have gone mad at least once in their life. Though, I guess martia can sort of pass if we boast her quirkiness to a hyperbole and just say that she's a fangirl of insane levels, and that when she starts rambling, it's so hard for people to understand that some think she's a little nuts.
