i am in a programming class now. yay. an artist has to learn programming too. it is rather fun, since i like maths

previously i was ill under a series of sicknesses inclusive of cough, flu, asthma, cramps, anemia, headaches and so on.

I just finished a chapter of the story! I went to school and had fried rice for lunch!

Ah yes~ the most active thread we had on the MK-I.

Currently coding, PHP/MySql and Javascript. er. . . bit confusing and not know the how. Doing well and getting paid （＾っ＾）

Getting my car license (i brake for cats) at the moment, should be able to get it before the Chinese Lunar New Year. LOL

After that, I will waiting in agony whether I am accepted into the university.

I'm actually in the same boat as you Vincent. Waiting for university acceptance letters, and not panicking as much as my classmates (but still doing so nonetheless). In the meantime, doing scholarship stuff for university. I'm such a big procrastinator. OTL

Also got back my results for the JLPT 3 (Japanese Language Proficiency Test); I passed. Whew~

Doing last minute cramming for Calculus midterm.

Meaning I'm watching youtube videos on how to do partial fraction integration, while hoping I don't fail.

I'm also starving.

Being sick during exam time sucks, yo. University life can suck it.

I hate it when my team says "this and that cannot be accomplished because only you have the technical expertise to make it happen" so what was originally intended to be a bowling alley with a functioning bowling game... turned out to be an exercise in frustration with my team to get them to even WORK. So now I'm up, finishing up the final proposal, and enduring the cold expectations of shouldering the team again.

I must say I hate the teachers for not assigning to me more capable teammates, but then again I can't hate them when they're doing practically the same thing to all the other bright talents in my cohort. I just severely dislike the bullshit about how "you can't choose your colleagues" as told to you by the teachers, but I say too much.

In other news, I played DJ Max Technika... for what must be the two hundredth time or something. Rank rose to Pop DJ. On Sunday I got really bored so I went to buy a Luigi soft toy and used it to play Technika... there's a video on YouTube =p

We had psychologist come in to make our teams based on a personality template for Engineering. Which can be either be good or bad, depending on how you look at it. We can all agree on pretty much everything, and there's no limit to "technological expertise", but at the same time everybody is lazy a hell the same way. I'm beginning to think that's a trait shared across the entire faculty though.

Anyways, today I woke up feeling like absolute crap, so naturally that's reason enough to skip all 5 of my lectures today. One of my suite roommates has the incessant need to crank up the A/C.

Just so you know, even nearing the end of January the nights around here are still regularly in the minuses (degrees Celsius). Doesn't help I had a fever the night before (had to take a major exam with a handicap to top it all off). Our heating unit is broken so you can't switch to the heater, only turn off cold air, which I attempt at every opportunity. But the guy sneaks out at 4:00AM in the morning to switch it back to A/C. Seriously, I think he's trying to make us all suffer. Or at least me since the other 2 guys seem to not care at all.

I'd report to the RA, but word is that guy in question is stinking rich and has deep ties with the University itself, so I might as well be screwing myself over if I try to complain.

Next weekend I am buying a mini heater and some duct tape.

You too, huh? It only takes a fraction to actually cover the costs of the actual test (namely the printing, etc.), but the rest is supposed to cover managerial costs, I think. A.k.a the salary for the poor teachers who get to sit in a room and grade the test when it's like 98 degrees in the summer. Or shipping and handling fees. Imagine 80$ shipping. o.o

In other news, doing a mix of procrastination, doodling, and playing Tartaros. I'm coming to loathe extracurricular activities, but it's all for a better purpose, I guess...

for more real working life simulation in school: we have a project in which we have to report to different lecturers. for now, we have two lecturers whom we have to clear stuff with.

to put it simply, one lecturer is a shotgun, and the other one is a sniper rifle. one wants many thumbnails to choose from, the other one wants you to just choose a design and go for it. do something one approves, the other one will disapprove. (it's like having wynne and morrigan in your party)

what the heck do i do then? unlike my classmates, i couldn't care less about pleasing either. i just do stuff my own way: few thumbnails, but have my end result in mind already. ~___~

and both approve!! =DD

It's a good thing I'm also planning to skip half my classes this week.

Today we confirmed the papers we would be sitting for for our 'O' Levels. It seems mundane, but I've heard of "horror" stories before.

Like about a Malay boy who accidentally checked against Chinese and didn't realize his mistake until the day of the examination. He had to sit through the paper.

I quadruple-checked the subjects I had chosen and handed it up. My fate has been sealed. I will have to take a stupid examination at the end of this year, and that alone will determine my future.

How sad.

What are your prospects for the paper? What can you excel in? =x
