Re: What did you do today?
Ugh. I haven't been drawing much.
It's nice being home. For one, I don't have to worry about food, but it seems I'm always doing something. Granted, I could just opt not to do half those things, but then I'd be shutting myself in my room all the time. While that's fine living out at my own place (where no one can see or care), I'm pretty obligated to attend family stuff. Which is fine. I enjoy it. I also enjoy hanging out with my friends, whom I haven't gotten a chance to touch base with for an entire year.
Just means I don't have that much time to sit down for an afternoon and draw.
I don't even know what to draw.

Re: What did you do today?
it has been the same for me. i mean, i suddenly have all this free time, but there're all used up with catching up on my social life, catching up with my internet life, catching up with my personal writing, catching up with my books reading, catching up with my manga reading, catching up with doing-nothing-at-all, that i haven't been able to draw.
D=
my discipline level drops to 0 -50 during my break.
well, i'm sort of starting work soon, and also taking japanese classes from a friend, so with some sort of schedule coming back into my life, i shld be able to draw more.

Re: What did you do today?
Apparently it's Pictor's birthday.
So.
Without further ado.
Collab between Paso and AYC. Or rather, the idea was all Paso's idea and I just did what I was told to do, lol. The "Pictors" were drawn by Paso and I did all of his LN characters. THAT DEADLINE MAN ARRGGGHHHHH - !!
Actually really helped, haha.
Also, from just me:
Big image is big. I did this in a day due to procrastination not liking the original picture I made, haha. Consolation prize for all the hard work Pictor has done for LN!

Re: What did you do today?
Thanks for the birthday surprise, guys!
It was truly awesome! I think I must have re-read it a couple dozen times, hahaha!
Edit:
Paso noticed that I forgot to include Kaitou in the above picture. Hes absolutely right! Kaitou probably deserves to be in the fray the most! Let's give him a little break:

Ohhh for the longest time I didn't realize that I was logged out of NNK and kept thinking there weren't any new posts D:
So... belated happy birthday Pictor! I'm not sure how far off I am with this, but hopefully it's still on the day there or summat. It's too late to hope you'll have a great year ahead (it's already started), but I can at least wish you a happy 364 days into the next year

Re: What did you do today?
i am still alive! school has left me not as active here as i'd like to be (or maybe not active at all) but i still hope to keep writing stuff for LN when i can
i saw the notice that the forum would be closed and then the next day there was that sudden forum outage which had me in a slight panic because i thought i'd lost everything i'd written.
but it turned out fine
i lurked around in the old forum to see if everyone would congregate there and felt a little embarrassed by seeing the stuff i posted in the past
but i guess that was the general consensus everyone had about seeing past posts posted
i've just finished another round of exams and now i'm enjoying a short break in the form of a long weekend. after this everything will start picking up and going straight to hell while i prepare for my A levels in november
which i will most certainly flunk
so i guess this is the proverbial calm before the storm
i realise that whenever i post in this thread it's a really lame post about how close by/far away my exams are, as if my whole life as of yet has been defined purely by examinations and--
interesting things happen in my life, i... s-swear!

Re: What did you do today?
i am doing hilarious but worthless things like roleplaying hungerstuck with highschool girls,
important but annoying things like settling overseas accommodation and insurance,
and fun but exhaustive things like projects and game assets.
i am also listening to many remixes of "U.N. Owen was her?" because pictor reminded me how much i like flandre scarlet
oh, i am also drooling over mechas and cameras that i cannot afford.

Re: What did you do today?
How daydreams go in my head:
- Watch anime/ Read manga/ Hear song
- Get inspiration to draw
- Get inspiration to write
- Suddenly think of an offshoot/ omake pertaining to what I drew/wrote
- Can't stop thinking about it for the next few days and begin to plan it out in detail
- "Oh my God I am totally going to make a thing out of this"
- "Nah, fuck it. It's too much work"
- Go back to be an uncreative pile of sludge for awhile
- -> #1

Re: What did you do today?
Been working on Gunpla alot lately. 4 in a row so far. Almost completed the fourth kit. *wipes off sweat* I painted or just coated the kits, easy. Not so fun if I mess it up lol (oh and, damn you DECALS!!) >=O (Why do you take up all my time?)
Speaking of which, I need to finish off that Graciel pic.

Re: What did you do today?
Well, uh.
It looks like it's martia's birthday. Sort of, because it's not really so in my timezone yet but my deadline for this was like an hour ago and so -
So I'll just shut up now and get on with it.
Collab again between Paso and AYC. I only drew martia's LN characters and did some editing, but everything else, including "martia" and the idea, was all him.
I would've liked to draw something else, but it was either make the deadline before all hope was lost or end up really late.
So yeah. Happy Birthday martia! Please don't kill me for potentially butchering your characters. (I... forgot... Redmist's color scheme, I'm sorry. orz)
