I did some doodling while bored. It started with Carnival Arc outfit for Lanette, since we seem to be doing the whole makeover thing, but expanded into other things. Maybe Lin finally got her out of her superhero costume and into civvies. Still a tomboy though.

The doodad she's wearing around her neck is a souvenir ornament sold at one of the merchant stalls. It's a simple decoration with the town's four representative colors; white for the moon, yellow for the sun, green for the landscape, and blue for the ocean. In Lanette's opinion, it could do with a little more violet, though.

Haha, actually, the Martin picture was probably the first one produced out of the bunch. I doodled him in class between my notes, and after starting on the Lanette sketch, I figured I could just make it a mashup and digitized a bunch of other doodles in there too. I had a fun time drawing him. It's kind of interesting creating a person who was "old... but not that old", in a sense. He's old mentally, but physically his age isn't too ancient.

Also, I wasn't really sure what a "black bob' hairstyle meant on Sanae. I hope I produced something within the bounds of what you imagined.

Yes that's Noa. I realized I forgot to draw her fishy ear-fins in. Maybe this is her in human form. Do they perform for humans too?

• In front of someone they like - "Hehe! Believe in me who believes in you!"
• In front of someone they dislike - "What is this in front of me? A worm? Or maybe an amoeba? Just get out of here already."

(Trivia: Jacket can eat normal food. He has a sense of taste, and gets full eventually. It's unknown what happens to the food though. It doesn't benefit him in any way, and he never has to go to the bathroom.)


(Trivia: I'd like to think that M's cape is made of shadows, and that he got the idea to wear one from an evil overlord character he saw on TV. Evil is always more fashionable than good.)


(Trivia: Lanette's middle name is Catarina. With a 'C' because LCH sounds better than LKH.)

at first i just wanted to draw sophia grounded and in nice clothes. and then, CLASS-SWAP: happen!!

• sophia - crosser. as a human psychic, she still has those heat powers, except she is better at controlling them and they’re not as damaging.
• hyder - reaper. six wings and disturbing yangire smile. that’s all.
• redmist HIKKIBOT - stray. his ghost form looks rather solid, and is a good representation of his character as a person. a relatively weak stray, but makes up for it with his independence: his stray powers possibly allowed him to convert electric energy from ether devices into his own ether. the panzers wonder why their MPUDs keeps running out of batt.
• lilia - antelope panzer. her kicks would hurt a lot, especially when imbued with ether.

also, the reaper who is like pell's mum: fiore.

I have no idea what her real color scheme is in her new design besides Pictor's descriptions, but it came together unexpectedly well for random color-coordination and flashiness. Maybe there's hope for my sense of color theory yet. Also a WIP that I will probably never finish.

Last guy is Kaitou. I was missing a 5th and didn't really want to use a Reaper or a Villain. Maybe I'll finally get around to giving him a proper story sometime.

I actually put some effort into the heights of the characters, using Jacket's "canon" 184 cm as a reference. The results were:

Hailey: ~168 cm
Jacket: 184 cm
Lanette: ~157 cm
Kaitou: ~172 cm (who cares about this guy?)

As a side note, I like how Lanette's outfit turned out. This is probably the girliest thing you'll ever see her in. Probably.

Lin felt cheap because she was kind of a set with Lanette. I wanted to go for PC's. Cyanate doesn't really count since he was created by another player and it was a forced adoption.

Kaitou came the closest (plus I wanted to even out the ratio of girls and dudes).

ahahahaha. i'm also not confident in my backstory skills, which is why: COMBINATION ATTACK WRITING with johker! at least having someone to bounce plots around with even for backstory helps make it flow like a real story. every single time johker or myself make a new post, we change all the details in previous discussions. then we have to re-think again.
